Cate had her first Bronco ride with Daddy on Friday! Looks like she liked it!
Cate spent Mother's Day weekend with me. We went shopping Saturday morning and got her a "big girl" chair for my truck, a new outfit, and a pair of shoes. Typical girl stuff! She apparently liked her new shoes...

After Cate's nap for the day, we headed to the Bayou Wildlife Park to see the animals. We got a couple buckets of food and rode the tram to see all kinds of animals. There were animals from Africa, India, Asia, Australia, and North and South America. Cate was especially interested in all the flying birds overhead. She would point and stare at them. Cate wasn't too sure what to think about all the animals. She checked them all out and thankfully never freaked.
She saw others taking food out of their buckets to throw over the railings and she began doing it too. Her distance was not like everyone else, her food only just made it over the railing and never to the animals.
After our tram ride, we ate lunch. She wanted to eat her Cheerios like the animals ate. Too funny!
After lunch, we went into the petting zoo area and Cate pet a few of the little goats.
The rest of the day was spent inside. Cate 'cooked' her magnet letters in a pot, played on her laptop, danced. She was a lot more squirmy. She wanted to check out everything and barely sat still to eat the whole weekend. She still listens very well for a 15 month old. If you tell her 'that's not yours' she stops and moves on to somethings else. She ate very well too. She had eggs and potatoes for breakfast Saturday, peas and yogurt for lunch, lasagna for dinner. She helped me eat pancakes Sunday morning for breakfast before packing up to head home.
She had her first spaghetti too. She liked eating and playing with the noodles.
Cate like to help and hand people things. She smiles really big when she hears "thank you". She knows she helped and it makes her very happy. :)
